In recent years Cameroon has been plagued with different threats from different ends of the country. In the Far North region, the security situation remains dire, with continued attacks and incidents caused by Boko Haram, the eastern region that shares boundaries with the Central African republic serve as a host region for people obliged to flee from the rebels in the CAR, In the South-West and North-West regions, there is an escalation of violence between non-state armed groups and state arm forces.

All of the above conflicts have placed Cameroon in a critical state. Villages, houses and schools have been burnt down, Most schools have been closed, families have moved into the bush and others moved to different regions in search of safe places, children have joined the none state armed groups and are exposed to death, women and children are vulnerable to all sorts of ills such as rape, sexual and emotional abuse, forced and early marriages and more.

  • Provides alternative livelihoods to vulnerable women,
