Shelter and NFI distribution to the elderly and people with special needs in Belo Sub-Division
The shelter and NFI cluster is aimed at improving the supply of shelter kits and non food items in emergency situations. This results in a harmonized effort to support people affected by the crises. It is in this light that SUDAHSER has decided to target the elderly and people with special needs who are particularly affected by the crisis in Belo sub division.
SUDAHSERs intervention was in the form of the distribution of core relief items such as blankets, jerry cans, buckets and matrasses. The aim of this project was to provide accountable, predictable and reliable emergency response to people in need of shelter. These items were in high demand following a need assessment which was conducted in the locality.
This mode of intervention focuses on the protection of displaced and other vulnerable groups form life threatening elements thought the distribution of emergency assistance packages, improved living conditions and facilitate access to durable solutions.
